About the Doctor
Dr. Delores Pittman, a native Washingtonian, is the owner and CEO of Pride Dental. She believes that in order to improve the health of others, a practitioner must genuinely care about his or her patients and keep the best interests of the patient as the primary focus.
She graduated from Tuskegee University with a BS in Chemistry in 1985, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in 1989. She immediately entered private practice as an associate in other offices throughout the Metro DC area. With the support of friends and family, she later opened her own office on Capitol Hill.
Dr. Pittman not only serves the general public, she continues to work with a number of media and entertainment personalities. She strives to meet the needs of all her patients, whether its providing whitening treatments to improve appearance or to calm fears about receiving dental treatment. Regardless of the patient, the goal is the same: to look and feel better, and to have improved health.
Dr. Pittman and her staff also believe in giving back to the communities that they service. She regularly participates in local health fairs and mentors high school and college students that are pursuing careers in dentistry.
Dr. Pittman is happily married to David W. Pittman and is the mother of two children, Trey and Lauren.
