About the Practice
Dr. Karen Cooper received her bachelor degree of Science from the prestigious University of Southern California. She continued her studies from the private institution of Case Western Reserve University of the School of Dentistry. By having parents from the south and studying in different parts of the country, Dr. Karen Cooper has been exposed to many cultures. She never meets a stranger and knows how to make the most apprehensive person feel comfortable and relaxed.
Dr. Karen Cooper has always had a passion for cosmetic dentistry. She does not simply place the same shape, size or color of veneers and crowns in all of her patient's mouths, but instead designs a smile that complements each person's face, hence the name Smile Designs by Dr. Karen Cooper. For many years, Dr. Karen Cooper studied under the Pacific Study Continuum and went on to become a clinical instructor in cosmetic and smile designs. Dr. Cooper also excels in other parts of dentistry. She does all root canals even molar root canals, tooth-colored fillings, extractions, bridges, partials, crowns and dentures.
Dr. Cooper trained for conscious sedation at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry. She ascertained this certificate to cater to the under served population of people who are extremely afraid to even sit in a dentist's chair because of past experiences. Dr. Karen Cooper invites patients to experience the difference. Dr. Cooper emphasizes the "wow" factor in her daily dental care for patients. She wants patients to leave Smile Designs saying, "Wow, the office is not good...it's great!"
