Dr. Susan Dennis is an exceptionally shilled dentist with high-energy and integrity. She is a perfectionist and is driven to top standards of patient care. She has a special talent for creating smiles for her patients that match each individuals face and personality. Dr. Dennis is fun-loving and has a great sense of humor.

Education:
Dr. Susan Dennis received her dental education form the University of Michigan. She graduated in 1980. Dr. Dennis was awarded the Francis B. Vedder award for being the top "Senior Student" in Crown and Bridge for her entire class. Her undergraduate degree is from Michigan Technological University.
Dr. Dennis has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education in several areas of dentistry. She attained "Mastery Level" from the 3i Company for dental implants. This was over a period of two years. Dr. Dennis also has reached "Mastery Level" from Dr. Michael Schuster's Center for Professional Development. This Center focuses on leadership, relationship-centered patient care and practice organization. The Pankey Institute of Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida is where Dr. Dennis advanced her education to an exceptionally high level. This Institute focuses on complicated dental conditions such as Temporomandibular Joint (TM)), bite problems, headaches, restoring teeth the proper way, smile analysis and design and dental photography. She is currently attending Dr. Frank Spear's courses of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education on facial beauty, dental aesthetics and cosmetics.
Membership:
Dr. Dennis is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society.
Community Service:
In the community, Dr. Dennis has volunteered for the past 27 years in many capacities. She is involved with fabrication of athletic mouth guards and dental needs for many of the varsity teams at Western Michigan University and Grand Valley State University. Over the years she has volunteered in her three sons' wide variety of activities. She has been a Cub Scout leader, costume sewer, forensics's helper, hockey mom, soccer mom, swimmer mom, cross-country mom, Sunday school mom, zoo keeper mom, stage mom.
Personal:
Dr. Dennis balances her professional life with her most important family life. Her husband, Jim Murray is a teacher at Portage Central High School where he also coaches the men's varsity hockey team. They have three amazing sons. Tom is a graduate from Arizona State University and is a television news reporter in Milwaukee. Mike is a graduate from Michigan State University and is a zoo keeper at Binder Park Zoo. Phil attends Grand Valley State University and plays hockey for the Lakers.
