Matt McGee DDS; PC

About the Doctor

Dr. Matt McGee graduated from the University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Dentistry where he served as Student President for two years. Prior to that, he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee.

Dr. McGee has continued his education after dental school by attending hundreds of hours of post-graduate education. His dedication to continuing education has allowed him to study with some of the top clinicians in the country and this has allowed him to stay at the forefront of dental technology.

"Dentistry has come a long way from the days of drilling and filling teeth," says Dr. McGee. "The current materials and clinical techniques at our disposal allow us to be more conservative, yet more esthetic than ever. Our patients deserve to have the most advanced treatments offered to them as part of their care."

Dr. McGee has maintained membership in many professional organizations including: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, Tennessee Dental Association and Nashville Dental Society.

A large portion of Dr. McGee's continuing education has been focused on cosmetic dentistry and smile enhancement. He believes that "your smile has the ability to create a great first impression. By transforming people's smiles into something they can be proud of, it not only increases their external beauty but increases their self-confidence." His critical eye for beauty in designing smiles has led to his work being featured in the media.

In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. McGee enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and daughter, Meg. He also volunteers with the Interfaith Dental Clinic and is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
