Robert Miller DDS

About the Practice

Dr. Miller received both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Biology and continued his education at New York University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1981. Upon graduation Dr. Miller was honored when chosen as one of 200 applicants to complete a residency program at Flushing Hospital and Medical Center. It is now 24 years Dr. Miller is practicing in South Florida.

Dr. Miller is one of the few Dentists in the United States to be Board certified by the American Bard of Oral Implantology (ABOI) This organization has issued only 221 certificates since 1969 so it was quite an honor and achievement when this level of his practicing was acknowledged. In addition to being a member of the ABOI, Dr. Miller is also a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI) and holds certificates and retains memberships in The Fellow College of Dentists, The American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association and The South Palm Beach County Dental Association.

His dedication to provide gentle care in a nurturing environment for his patients is a continual process of education and research. Dr. Miller has introduced 3-dimensional imaging , has been a leader in the area of laser dentistry and is introducing to America the first Robo-dent surgical navigation to be used for implant dentistry. His continuous education and training have enabled Dr. Miller to achieve highly refined skills. Due to his expertise he was chosen as Chairman of the Department of Implant Dentistry at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic where he teaches many dentists, including specialists, the surgical aspects and complexities of implant dentistry as well as the follow-up treatment of the reconstructive (prosthetics) and cosmetic phases.

Dr. Miller is the author of many journal articles and book chapters on implant and laser dentistry. Since 1985, Dr. Miller has had the privilege of instructing dentists nationally and internationally in the areas of oral implantology, laser and aesthetic dentistry and continues to share his knowledge with the many organizations that seek his expertise and request him to lecture. Dr. Miller is proud of the fact that all his staff are highly educated and qualified to aid in our patients care. All staff are required to participate in continuing education and higher learning and to share all experiences so that we may continue to improve our care and know at all times about our patients and feedback given to our office.
