About the Practice

In our practice, we adhere to three basic philosophies. First is “Quality Dentistry through Continuing Education”. We are strongly committed to being the best at what we do. The only way to do this is by spending countless hours learning and improving on new techniques. It’s your smile, and you deserve a dentist with the experience, ability and confidence to provide you with the results you desire.

Our second philosophy is “Understanding through Listening”. Your first appointment will not be an “in and out” experience. We always take the time to listen to our patients concerns, so that together, we can develop solutions that are appropriate for you.

Last, but not least, is our philosophy of “Informed Decisions through Understanding”.

How can you be expected to make decisions about your healthcare without truly understanding your options or the recommended treatment? We have numerous tools, including DVD patient education modules, and an intra-oral cameras in every room to help you understand any existing concerns. We will spend the time you deserve so that any decision you make is a well informed one.

Dr. Horowitz pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and received his Doctor of Den­tal Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He served an elective year as a General Practice Resident at the Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, receiving advanced training in all phases of den­tistry, medicine, and patient care. Dr. Horowitz opened his practice in Conway in 1992 .Since then, he has participated in over one thousand hours of continuing education, focusing on state of the art cosmetic care, and six years of orthodontic training, earning certificates from the American Orthodontic Society and the USDI.

As a distinguished Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr Horowitz, and his staff have also participated in advanced education in areas such as Implant treatment, TMJ treatment and complicated restorative care. Our entire team is committed to keeping up with the many advances in modern dentistry to better serve our patients!
